Bonum Wood manufactured fine herringbone parquet boards suitable for the underfloor heating system installed in the apartment, which were also installed on the floor, walls, and ceiling.
The color of the floor was achieved by treating the boards using CoTanin technology. This involves treating the parquet boards with special reagents that react with the natural tannins in the wood during processing. This reaction produces an authentic color that varies depending on the amount of tannins. Wooden floors treated with this technology also have greater resistance to wear, moisture, and fading.
The chosen shade of dark chocolate flooring and its intense pattern are one of the main interior accents, which balances the light earthy tones of the walls, uncluttered spaces, and extremely “light” and elegant interior elements.
