When designing the interior, the architect focused not on external ideas dictated by contemporary trends or modern stylistic directions, but on delving into the personalities, characters, and attitudes of the people living in the house. Only after feeling what the family “breathes” and what characteristics it has, did she begin to look for visual means of expression for the interior. When creating this interior, we wanted to reflect two distinct family trends – one based on values associated with traditions and faith, and the other based on growth, associated with activity, enthusiasm, and energy. These two directions dictated the visual expression – traditional elements in the interior coexist with modern, active ones. The classic background – doors, baseboards, furniture panels, floors – became an expression of the family’s values and classic side. Modern, colorful, bold interior elements reflect the active side.
