This house is located in the luxurious Hampstead area (NW3) in London, United Kingdom. This area belongs to the famous London borough of Camden. It is famous for its arts, literary and other intellectual movements and, of course, for the huge Hampstead Heath park. Real estate prices in this area are the highest in London. Hampstead also has the highest concentration of millionaires in the entire country.
In order to create a cozy interior, the architects wanted the floors to be a warmer tone than the other interior surfaces (walls, floors). The product chosen for this project was SILVA, natural oak-colored parquet flooring with white pores. They were installed in this house in three different ways: first, with parquet flooring up to four meters long and 30 centimeters wide, with a special 53-degree herringbone pattern and on the stair treads.
